Planned Weapons
The weapons itself should be seen as classes, so that you carry only one of those weapons. Even tho you can "drop" the weapon and get another one. A standard set of smaller weapons (a knife, a pistol) is always "on board". Also see: EngineWeaponsHandling?
Assault Rifle
A standard attack weapon, it is good for short distance, firing waves and also good on long distance if used in single shot mode. The weapon has a muzzleflash that shows the position of the shooter if he is on distance or in a dark area. The bullets themself are not seen.
Name: M16A6 (Current there is M16A4 version, so the design must be near that, keeping in mind the already done changes from M16A1 -> M16A4)
Idea: If you got the Assault Rifle and get grenades you can use them with a grenade launcher.

Submachine Gun
A lighter attack weapon, which is more stable then the Assault Rifle on handling, so that coordinated and solid attacks can be performed a bit better, also the weapon doesnt show a muzzleflash, but you see the bullets flying (white line).
Idea: Laser pointer.
Shotgun
This weapon is clear the standard shotgun, short distance ultimative result. On a very short distance should kill directly.
Idea: The dudes with shotgun can heal people with a medpack on board (extra weapon which "fires" health to the person next to healer).

Sniper
The Sniper weapon is totally made for just shooting on distance, the reload time is very high but the result of a hit fatal.

Grenades
They can be found on the map or are part of the base setup if the map wants this. Classic, throw, run, explode ;).
