General Gameplay Informations

The gameplay itself will be very orientated to realistic gamemodes, that means, gamemodes that are "easy to understand" and give a logical approach. Also we still will offer "match modes" to satisfy the need of more challenging orientated players.

Planned Gamemodes

Conquest

In honor of the Battlefield 2 Gameplay this is the primary mode of the game, even tho we add supply line support in, that means, you can only capture points that are connected to another capture point of you. The gameplay itself is farly easy, both people has an base where they spawn first, and then try to capture the bases along the supply lines, to get a connection to the enemy base. The pointing system i must said i must checkout again myself ;) didnt really watched on that while playing /smile/. There is no way to capture the homebase, its uncapturable.

Onslaught

In honor to our gameengine DP and our root game Nexuiz we will add also the exact same gamemode with "attacking" the capture point instead of only waiting at the flag. We will see which way attracts the players more :). Also in this mode, the enemy must destroy something at the base of the other when he has captured a complete supply line. If that is destroyed the team wins.

Deathmatch / Team Deathmach

Of course we will offer those classical modes, too. For this mode the controlpoints doesnt have a flag, and you spawn always at base. That means on bigger maps this mode is farly unattractive.

Capture The Flag

Also in honor of the roots for the gameplay, we add this famous mode, any map will be capable of it, cause the base flags are always there. The control points in between are again not important.

Mutators

In addition to the core gameplay, you can extend the game with mutators to give a specific style to the gameplay. I hope we can make it possible to choose several of those, otherwise we must rethink that concept part.

One Shot One Kill

Whatever mode you play, you can extend it that way that all players has maximum 1 health, and so every hit kills them.

Roundbased

The mode is played till there is only one side left, and there is no respawing. Then the next "round" goes on.

Knife Only

The player only has a knife, and no primary weapon, no pistol.

Pistol Only

The same with pistol, cant of course be combined with Knife Only.

No Healing

There are no medic lockers and there is no healing ability.
