CubeStats.Net

Overview

CubeStats.Net is a project that Getty started before Project BattleCube to furfill his greed to data and statistics. His target was to make a statistic system for a game to achieve some site like  BF2S. For this project he started to use the Assault Cube engine, because of the decent amount of player to get the right amount of data. Because the development of Assault Cube itself is very unprofessional, the work was making too much trouble to move the idea to something else. While on this move the idea of Project BattleCube and Rise Of Conflict came up, and so the concentration for first sits in this project.

Part in Rise Of Conflict

Although Rise Of Conflict is produced 100% GPL, we dont think that its useful for the community also handle central needed system the same way. These just opens more the ways for cheating on a level which is farly harder to track than client cheating. This means, the development for the central registration (not the public library) and anything around the management and clustering of the central server concepts goes into CubeStats.Net development which is not public code. This way it also secures that we can make very fast a result on that system without thinking of backward compatibility or other users who work with the code, also we dont need to be so "secure" about small security leaks we make for a first aprove and fix them later (but lets hope thats it not needed anyway ;) ). CubeStats.Net will also organize the ranked server infrastructure.
